Education

1990
Bachelor of Fine Arts. Universidad de La Habana, Cuba.

Current
Completing an M.F.A. in the Studio Art Program, Department of Art and Art History
Photography area, at the University of Texas at Austin.

Training and work experience

March, 1994-present, USA
Fine arts free lance photographer.

September 1992 - March, 1994, Pachuca, State of Hidalgo, Mexico
Principal Photographer, Institute of Cultural Development and Social Research.
Specialization in architecture for project to restore the historical city center of Hidalgo.
He also receives training on preservation of historic and contemporary photographic collections
at the Fototeca of the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (I.N.A.H.)
(National Institute of Anthropology and History).

April 1991 - September 1992, Havana, Cuba
Curator in a national project undertaken by Fototeca de Cuba, which is an archive of the development
of the art of photography of Cuba. Among other projects, he was in charge of research and photography
for the exhibit "150 Years of Cuban Photography", 4th Biennial Exhibition of Havana; and of "Affluents",
an exhibit of contemporary Cuban photography.
