Ana Mendieta: Fuego de Tierra. Co-produced by Nereida Garcia-Ferraz and Kate Hosfield. This videotape on the life and work of Cuban-born Ana Mendieta won Best Video documentary in the 1988 National Latino Film and Video Festival. By utilizing rare footage of Cuban-born artist, Ana Mendieta's politics and the poetics of her vision with an emotionally charged power.
